The 150th annual Murray Bridge Agricultural and Horticultural Show, taking place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, promises to be a spectacular community event, and this year brings a renewed focus to the Photography section.
Genuine Support Services Australia’s (GSSA) Fresh Perspective Photography (FPP) will be convening and providing judges for the highly anticipated 2024 Section W Photography competition, held in the Ken Wells OAM Pavilion.
Known for its long-standing popularity among locals and visitors, the photography event has become a staple of the Murray Bridge Show. Whether you are a seasoned photographer or a newcomer, looking to capture the essence of your imagination or surroundings, this is the place to be.

Glenn Power and Veronica Ward, both of GSSA’s FPP, an industry celebrated group of photographers, known for their unique approach and support of budding photographers, will play a pivotal role in this year’s show.
Glenn says there are many ways of getting involved with the show - aside from entering the photography competition. “You can volunteer at all sorts of levels, lend a hand in the office, or even become a sponsor, as GSSA has done this year with the photography group,” he said. “For those keen to get behind their cameras, we’re encouraging attendees to show their skills by capturing anything vibrant and exciting about this year’s show, for our new GSSA FPP competition.”
Veronica Ward, who will be judging at this year’s show, is excited to hear that the "Best of the Show” photography competition, is to be launched at this year’s show and that winners of the competition, along with their images, will be showcased next year at the 2025 Murray Bridge Show.
