Last week, Caleb photographed Championship Wrestling Entertainment Australia’s event at the Tailem Bend Football Club—and he was a hit. “Capturing wrestling is a real thrill,” Caleb said. “The action moves fast, the light can be tricky, and selecting the best shutter speed, focus points, and most of all timing all have to come together perfectly - it’s challenging, but I learnt a lot that night, and yes, it was a lot of fun.”

His photographic work at Tailem Bend has opened doors: Caleb will now travel to Adelaide to photograph numerous wrestling events, with the Tailem Bend crowd set to see him again later in the year.

Beyond the ring, Caleb continues his passion for local news, culture, and photographing the occasional Sunday session at the Lakeside Butter Factory in Milang.

For Caleb, photography is more than just a hobby—it’s a lens through which he experiences the world. “It’s about catching that moment, freezing the emotion, and telling a story without words,” he explains. With his skill, creativity, and now professional assignments under his belt, Caleb is not just photographing moments—he’s crafting memories, and his future in photography looks as bright as a spotlight on the wrestling ring.
